Biography
Prof. Dexter C. Jameson Jr
Councillor Emeritus
Member #7300, initiated in 1950 at the University
of Tennessee (Chapter #33, installed in 1959). Professor Jameson served as
Faculty Advisor at Tennessee from 1965-71. He also served as Southern
District Councillor from 1972-80 and Cumberland District Councillor from
1980-2000. He was appointed National Executive Secretary 1972-86,
Secretary Treasurer 1987-92, and Vice-President from 1998-2000. Since
2000, Prof. Jameson is serving at his present position as Councillor
Emeritus. He received a BSCE and an MSCE from the University of Tennessee.
He also served as the Association of College Honor Societies'
Vice-President (1981-83) and President from 1983-85.
